Toasted Ravioli's-Make a great appetizer for Holiday Parties

Its still Thanksgiving Week but I thought I would share this idea as you can use it as an appetizer for Turkey Day and try to keep those sneaky hands from picking at the turkey.

Growing up my grandma always had several appetizers laid out to keep people out of the kitchen and away from the star attractions until meal time.  The appetizers she used included things like a platter of baby dill and baby sweet pickles with black olives, celery with peanut butter or cream cheese, and deviled eggs.

What You Will Need-
1-2 Bags of Refridgerated or Frozen Ravioli's-or you can make them yourself if you are really fancy.  I have never attempted my own ravioli's, they intimidate me.
1 jar of Spaghetti Sauce for dipping
Olive Oil or Melted Butter

Step 1: Prep and Toast Ravioli's
If using frozen ravioli's thaw out before hand, thawing out over night in the fridge works best for this.
Make sure ravioli's are dry, they should kinda stick together.  Pat dry if needed.
Place Ravioli's onto baking sheet, brush tops with olive oil (melted butter works too)
Toast at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
Flip Ravioli's over and toast an additional 6-8 minutes.
Place on a serving platter around a bowl of warm Spaghetti Sauce
Tell everyone to stay away from the turkey!

This is a nice, versatile dish.  Pair them with a salad and some garlic bread for dinner, or serve as is for a kid friendly lunch.  My 4 yr old enjoys his dunked in BBQ Sauce instead of Spaghetti Sauce.  I think they taste delish plain.
They are so simple to make they really don't need their own post but I didn't want to post on the FB page and have them lost in the news feed.

Love,
Christy
